    Which do you prefer – A or B? (v2)

Following on the popularity of my last A or B, I thought I’d post another where I need your opinion ….

After some moderate recognition in one of last year’s competitions (MPA), I’m looking to re-enter for some more scrutiny this year.

This is where you come in 🙂
I decided to open up one of my submissions to public vote and I’ve narrowed down two dark/moody images for you to pick as your favourite.

I’d really like to hear your opinion and at the end of the week I’ll randomly select a voter to receive a print of both of the pictures on quality paper as a "thank you" for sharing your opinion.

    B)Colonsay Kiloran Bay Midday

The response to this was phenomenal. Emails, twitter messages and comments flowed in from high-end agencies to boutique design studios.
Thank you all, it made my week 🙂

And so – skip to the chase ….

All the replies have been totted up and the favourite image,
selected (by a landslide of 2:1) was ……. *drum roll*

    …… B

But the question you may be asking is "do you get a print ….. ?"

I so appreciate the positive feedback I received that I decided to fire up the big Epson ink spitter and print off a couple more, so keep an eye on your inboxes as there may be and email from me asking you to confirm your delivery address, so I can send your voted favourite right to your doorstep 🙂

Which do you prefer – A or B?

    I need your opinion ….

I was selecting a picture to hang in one of my rooms, but I got stuck on which one to hang.
I printed them both thinking that would help, but I’m still stuck, so I thought I’d leave it to a vote.

I’ll randomly select a voter to receive the alternate print as a "thank you" for sharing their opinion, but I’ll wait until the 21st March to give everyone time and then notify the winner by email.

    Commissioned Abstract Picture

I received a commission a few weeks back to create an abstract picture for a hairdresser in Woking, Surrey.
I did an abstract for a shop last year and the people who set up this shop in Woking really liked it and asked if I’d do one for them in the same style.

The brief was that they wanted an image of the shop to be manipulated into an abstract image, but still recognisable. They also wanted it in bright bright colours to stand out against the stark white walls of the shop.

I spent about an hour taking the shots of the shop (night time) and had to use a couple of strobes to throw light across the sign in order to make the sign stand out.

Once post production was complete I did a selection of 18 images which the client shorlisted to 3 possibles.
3 sample prints were made and the final picked

I printed the picture last week on my Epson 9880 and left it to dry for a few days.
It measures in at 64″x36″ printed and 60″x32″ once on the frame

Once dried it was mounted on a gallery wrap frame and is now waiting for the client to pick up.

    Here’s the image:
