Busy Bee …
Apologies for those following the blog for the lack of updates in the last 2 weeks.
It’s been busy (which is good news)
I ‘ve been shooting 3 weddings in the last few weeks. One in London, one in Scotland and one in Richmond.
I’ll post up some pictures and details shortly 🙂I also recently updated to Photoshop CS4 to make use of the CS4 64 bit version so I can now use much more of my editing system’s 12Gb Ram as the 32bit CS3 (and 4) can only use a maximum of 3Gb.
Also finished the last of the prints for Rob Durston’s exhibition in N.Ireland starting 3rd June: https://www.anoceanapart.com/
I’ll be going over for the opening night to see the show in action and I’ll post some pics when I get back. But for now …. back to the picture editing 🙂

Rob Durston Exhibition – Prints
I’ve recently been doing some Fine Art prints for extremely talented photographer Rob Durston
Rob’s Link1: Commercial and Advertising
Rob’s Link2: Fine ArtThese are being held in the ISLAND Arts Centre in Lisburn in Northern Ireland on the 3rd – 29th June 2009. To see a sample of what he’s exhibiting, see this link: https://www.anoceanapart.com/
Here’s some of his prints I’m making … right now 🙂
The economy is on the up ….
As reported by the BBC News website, mortgage lending increased by 29% last month and completed property sales leapt by 40% between February and March.
https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8049535.stmI’ve been working with some people in the financial sector and they’ve said that their employers (banks) made more than healthy net profits in the 1st quarter of the year and more contract jobs are becoming available (I used to contract)
The papers are reporting ‘annual losses’ as they don’t seem to want to report that most companies have been making profits for the last 3-6 months.
But as we’re well on the way back, hopefully all private enterprises will start to get a little more work now the upturn in the economy is spreading wider and faster
