A beast is coming …..
My new PC that is 🙂I decided to retire my old Pentium III which I built about 7 years ago in favour of something a little ….. quicker.
I ordered my components a little while back and they’ve just arrived.
The new system has an Intel i7 chip with 12Gb of 1866 ram and a 1Gb ATI 4890 graphics card ….. all so I can edit pictures quicker.I’ve put it all together, but I’m still waiting on my Dark Power power supply to come before I can switch it on and install all by bits ‘n bobs. It should be here next week, so until then I have my trusty laptop and server to keep me warm 🙂

It seems I’m in the news …. again 🙂New footage has been released of the Ian Tomlinson incident …. and in it plain as day is wee me taking pictures (long black coat, white shirt, blue jeans).

I was contacted by IPCC regarding the incident and I’m meeting with them for an interview and delivering high-res images that may be used in their investigations.
Wedding season has officially started
The bells … the bells ….
Wedding season has officially started. New brides and grooms are becoming one and creating unity between families and friends.I was at my brothers wedding on Saturday and was best man so unable to take any of my own pictures during the service.But I did manage to get some before we left for the church …..
During the wedding I passed my camera to my lady to get some shots and at the reception I passed it to a keen young cousin to use. The pictures are still to be edited, but will be sent to the happy couple so they have them when they return from their honeymoon.
It was a great day and I’m chuffed to bits to have a sister for the first time 🙂
The London Strobist group
I met up with some of the London Strobist group tonight and kicked back with a couple of drinks and lots of talk around cameras and lighting.
It was great to unwind with a bunch of people who’s eyes don’t glaze over after 2 minutes of chatting about hyperfocal planes and making cusom grid spots 🙂
I posed an interesting proposition to them and from their reaction it looks like I have a special event to organise.
