Wedding season has officially started
The bells … the bells ….
Wedding season has officially started. New brides and grooms are becoming one and creating unity between families and friends.I was at my brothers wedding on Saturday and was best man so unable to take any of my own pictures during the service. But I did manage to get some before we left for the church …..During the wedding I passed my camera to my lady to get some shots and at the reception I passed it to a keen young cousin to use. The pictures are still to be edited, but will be sent to the happy couple so they have them when they return from their honeymoon.
It was a great day and I’m chuffed to bits to have a sister for the first time 🙂The London Strobist group
I met up with some of the London Strobist group tonight and kicked back with a couple of drinks and lots of talk around cameras and lighting.
It was great to unwind with a bunch of people who’s eyes don’t glaze over after 2 minutes of chatting about hyperfocal planes and making cusom grid spots 🙂
I posed an interesting proposition to them and from their reaction it looks like I have a special event to organise.
Watch this space …..Media Motives
I was contacted by a friend expressing concern over my motives behind ‘selling’ my images to the press. I thought she knew me a bit better than that.
To clarify, I will not be profiting from any of my images relating to the poor man that passed away.
The media will be paying me a fair price for any freelance images they’ve used, but there’s no way I’d profit from someone else’s misfortune.
Any proceeds from this sad occurance will be donated to charity.
G20 Picture in the Sun
A new day and a new surprise. One of the pics I took of the man last night was used by The Sun newspaper on pg.6
This was after I’d alerted the police and went back to the man. Lots of concerned people and the girl in the pic trying to move him into the recovery positionHere’s a link to the Sun’s online page:
