I’ve decided to use this blog feed on my Canvas website. It did have it’s own news/blog pages but I figured that it makes more sense to update just one blog and publish it in both locations.
Canvas My Art is an extension of my photography so i’ll also be adding updates regarding exhibitions and new artists I work with.

I had a 1hr photo session yesterday with a gentleman who was looking to get some images to be used for online dating websites. Talk about beating the competition …. he’ll definitely be well ahead of the game with the images I took for him compared to the others online.
We covered a lot in our time, 9 different locations plus I used a couple of strobes for some of the settings for creative lighting. Lots of varying images, styles and angles so he can reflect different aspects of his personality online.
My images plus the fact hes a tall good looking fella will no doubt secure him some dates in the very near future.
For reasons of privacy, I won’t be displaying any of his pictures here.
Steve and Emral wedding
Steve and Emral’s wedding in the Millennium Hotel, Grosvenor Square, Mayfair – London
What a venue and what a lovely couple. The hotel sits right on Grosvenor square and we were fortunate to have fantastic weather on the day. I was second photographer to Helen Jones who I’ve worked with several times before and who is a big name in wedding photography with over 10 years experience behind her.
We used the square to it’s full potential and the happy couple and their guests were great to photograph. If anything we were struggling to keep them carrying on too much so we could get the formal group shots after the ceremony. Fortunately that didn’t take too long and we let them loose to party while we got back to documenting the day quietly in the background.
We were due to finish at about 23:00, but we didn’t leave until 00:30.
These guys know how to party….. and I have to admit I had a great time capturing their memories right to the end.

I was booked for a 1/2 day photo session today. It was an early start as I had to be there and ready to go at 08:00 and I had to cover 5 apartments as well as hallway and exteriors.A lot to do in a few hours, but I got the images the client was after.
I’ll put them on a web gallery for the client so he can select the images he wants me to edit so he can use them for advertising purposes.They are amazing looking apartments which makes my job a lot easier and the tenants occupying some of the apartments were very welcoming and helpful when I was taking the interior shots.
All in all a great day today
