The economy is on the up ….
As reported by the BBC News website, mortgage lending increased by 29% last month and completed property sales leapt by 40% between February and March.

I’ve been working with some people in the financial sector and they’ve said that their employers (banks) made more than healthy net profits in the 1st quarter of the year and more contract jobs are becoming available (I used to contract)
The papers are reporting ‘annual losses’ as they don’t seem to want to report that most companies have been making profits for the last 3-6 months.
But as we’re well on the way back, hopefully all private enterprises will start to get a little more work now the upturn in the economy is spreading wider and faster
